About Us

The Morgan County Observatory Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on improving interest in the sciences among West Virginians. It's our belief the construction of a modern observatory to house the county's research-grade telescope, will go a long way in fostering this interest. The MCOF also aims to encourage participation in astronomy projects via the internet, allowing people all over the state, and beyond, to benefit from the resurrection of this telescope.
